This voltage optimised 10 watt solar panel is ideal for use in 12V off-grid systems and charging 12V batteries. It’s rigid anodised aluminium frame and toughened glass prevent damage due to frost, snow, hail and high winds giving it a design life of over 25 years of consistent free power.

The ECO-WORTHY 10W Solar Panel has a bypass diode fitted as standard which makes it perfect for connecting solar panels together in series to create a higher voltage solar system. However, it does not have a blocking diode fitted and so should not be left connected to a battery overnight as it will allow charge to escape from your battery.

The ECO-WORTHY 10W Solar Panel Main Features

Let’s take a look at some of this 10 Watt solar panels features:

The Panels Good Points:

  • Top of the range 10 Watt AKT Solar Panel with excellent performance even in low-light conditions.
  • Made from 36 (4×9) high performance, high efficiency monocrystalline solar cells.
  • 3.2mm tempered glass and rigid anodised aluminium alloy frame for exceptional strength.
  • Voltage optimised for use in 12V systems and charging 12V batteries.
  • Weatherproof and durable, perfect for permanent outdoor use on a boat, motor home, or in solar gardens.
  • Lightweight, portable and complete with 1.8 metres of cable.

The Panels Bad Points:

  • Only 10 watts of solar power available.
  • High cost per solar watt compared to others.
  • Requires additional blocking diode for battery charging.

This weatherproof 10 watt ECO-WORTHY solar panel is ideal for people who want to save on their electricity bills and the environment. It is powerful and portable enough to be used to power hundreds of devices that you may use in a shed, boat or caravan such as lights and pumps. This portable 10 watt solar panel is capable of generating free renewable solar power even on a dull and cloudy day.

Due to its rigid anodised aluminium alloy frame and 3.2mm thick tempered glass giving it exceptional strength, it is perfect for permanent outdoor use in the garden to provide free power either directly, such as powering a pond fountain or fan, or for keeping your car, caravan, boat or motorbike battery topped up around the clock.

Connecting 10 Watt Panels Together

These 10 Watt Solar Photovoltaic Panels can be connected together with other panels to form larger arrays for higher voltages or greater battery charging currents. The following table gives you an idea of what is possible with this small but versatile 10W panel.

Where: 0S-2P means zero panels connected in a Series string, but 2 panels connected together in a Parallel branch. Likewise, 2S-6P means 2 panels connected together in a Series string, with 6 strings connected in a Parallel branches.

Note that this 10 watt solar panel can be connected together in either a series, parallel or a combination of both to give a higher output voltage or charging current from the array than a single panel.

For example, four of these 10W solar panels panels connected in series would give maximum operating voltage 69.2 volts (4 x 17.3) at 0.56 amps ( Vmp x Imp = 69.2 x 0.56 = 38.75W ). Likewise, four of these 10W solar panels connected together in parallel would give 17.3 volts at 2.24 amps ( Vmp x Imp = 17.3 x 2.24 = 38.75W ).

For off-grid battery charging applications, HQST’s Solar Charge Controller is a good choice. This powerful dual voltage (12V or 24V), 10A charge controller which uses PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) technology to extend the life of connected batteries and can work with sealed, gel and flooded batteries.

Other features of this 10A Charge Controller include LCD display, LED indicators and friendly interface with 4 multifunctional buttons and two USB charging ports. The controller also allows you to set battery capacity, automatic cut off to prevent over-charging and deep discharge, over heating, over load, short circuit and reverse polarity protection of the connected batteries.

The ECO-WORTHY Solar and CE logos assures the quality of the panel, so for more information, customer reviews about this 10W solar panel, Click Here to visit Amazon, you won’t find it cheaper anywhere else. Free shipping is included also.

  • The issue we have at work is that this System keeps beeping a long loud beep randomly. 4 solar panels, an mppt charge controller, a 2000W inverter and 3 12.8V LifePO4 batteries connected in parallel. When this long beep sounds the batteries are fully charged and the outside small square panel reads a EAA code. Eco Worthy can’t even supply us with a reason or what that code even means. It is extremely frustrating at this point. Eco Worthy as a company is absolutely lousy and has poor customer service. Any idea why this is doing this and what an EAA error actually is?

    • Hello, we can not comment directly on your issue as we have no knowledge of your installation or its wiring configuration. Assuming your solar installation is correctly installed, the bleeping could be due to battery over voltage error when fully charged, or a PV overvoltage alarm warning that it’s over its MPPT range. You can check either condition against eco-worthy’s specifications with a multimeter right at the controller
